Cowells Solicitors was set up by Rex Cowell in 2007.

Rex qualified as a solicitor in 1991, and worked for Manches & Co in London for five years. In 1996 he moved to a firm which is now ASB law, where he was Head of Landlord and Tenant Litigation. Between 2004 and 2007 Rex was Head of Litigation at a major PLC property services company listed on the London Stock Exchange.

Over the last 16 years Rex has handled all types of property and commercial disputes. His cases have ranged from the straightforward recovery of debts to complex disputed matters involving millions of pounds.

He has represented clients in the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal, as well as the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal. Those clients have included public companies, private companies (both big and small), local authorities, housing associations, auctioneers, estate agents and individuals.
